Listing Dresses

1. By submitting a dress for borrow, aka rental, with Borrowed By Design, hereafter known as BBD or "the company" you are giving the most accurate information on the quality, size, color, length, description and condition of the dress.

2. You are agreeing to the final rental price and replacement price of the dress you are listing on the site. Pricing changes cannot take place once the dress is accepted by BBD without a written request that is both acknowledged and accepted by the listing team. New prices will be listed within 48 hours of acceptance.

3. If the dress is damaged upon return, you have no more than 48 hours from the time-stamped delivery record to report a problem. After the 48 hour window closes, the dress will not be replaced by the company or give credit for future rentals.

4. The dress will be sent to the renter with dry cleaning tags still attached in a dry cleaning plastic bag. This ensures the dress is clean and wearable for the renter.

5. Once the dress arrives to the renter, you will receive the agreed rental commision. Rental Price - Shipping & Handling One Way - BBD's Fee (15% of rental) = Rental Commision for you.

6. Once a dress is rented, you have 48 hours to dropp-off the dress at the designated carrier: UPS, USPS or FedEx. The type of shipping method will be noted in your rental notice email.

7. If you do not ship the dress within 48 hours to the renter, the dress will be immediately removed from the site and you will not be able to post a dress for 4 weeks. A second mishap will result in an 8 week suspension and a third will be a permanant removal from the site.

8. By using our community site, you are agreeing to the use of your images in all marketing related materials. This includes, but is not limited to: social media posts, advertising (print & digital), promotions and discounts and public relations.

Borrowing Dresses

1. By borrowing, aka renting, a dress from Borrowed By Design, hereafter known as BBD or "the company" you are agreeing to the rental and replacement price of the dress. Should you damage the dress beyond repair, you will be charged the replacement fee.

2. You have no more than 24 hours from arrival of the dress to notifiy us of an error or if the dress not matching your quality expectations. Photos and an explanation will need to be submitted online, or by email at info@borrowedbydesign.com. If we deem the dress does not meet expectation, we will give a full monetary refund or credit for future rental on the site, whichever you prefer.

3. You have exactly 7 days from the time of arrival to return the dress using the shipping method provided in your return instructions from BBD. The carrier will be either UPS, USPS or FedEx. If you do not return the dress within 3 days of the deadline, you will be charged for the replacement value of the dress and you will be on suspension for 4 weeks. A second mishap of this nature will result in a permanent removal of your profile from our site.
