Borrowed by Design partners with Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta for Dress-Drive

Dresses will go to raise money for Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta Spring and Summer projects.   

Atlanta, GA (February 22nd, 2016) – On March 5, 2016, Borrowed by Design (BBD) will host its first annual 'Drop Your Dress Drive' in partnership with Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta. The programming at Girls Inc. focuses on empowering young girls to reach their full potential in life by giving them the confidence building tools they need to succeed. The Girls Inc. mantra is  “Strong, Smart and Bold” and follows a defined 6 step 'Bill of Rights,’  The Atlanta chapter of this organization positively inspires and impacts the lives of more than 80,000 girls, while helping more than 3,000 each year.


Anno Hardage, CEO of Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta, commented, “We are thrilled to partner with Borrowed By Design! Not only are they helping to provide critical resources to strengthen our programming, but our girls get the chance to see a strong, smart, bold team of female entrepreneurs in action. All dresses donated at the dress drive will be rented or sold on Borrowed by Design’s web platform, where profits will be donated directly to Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta. The young women of Girl’s Inc. will also have the opportunity to wear any of the dresses given for upcoming school events. Borrowed by Design has a variety of dresses available on the website for special occasions, including bridal, cocktail, formal, and prom.

The Drop Your Dress Drive will take place at Sally B’s Skin Yummies Atlanta Flagship Store on Saturday, March 5, 2015 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sally Larson, creator of Sally B’s Skin Yummies, is a long time Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta supporter!
